Collection: The Jewel House
What outlives the wearer.
Tomb effigies, signet rings, family jewels — the physical objects of the Tudor era have a way of outlasting the people who wore them. Under King Henry VIII, the "Jewel House" was the royal department and physical vault dedicated to holding the king’s crown jewels, gold plate, and gemstones. Elizabeth Tilney's own alabaster effigy still lies in St Mary's Church, Ashwellthorpe, more than five centuries later. The Jewel House is fine jewelry in that spirit: pieces built to become the heirlooms your own bloodline tells stories about.
