The Ruby Crown Bangle is handmade in Montana by Alexa Martha Designs — a variation of the original bangle featured in Brides Magazine, recreated here in solid sterling silver with a ruby centrepiece.
Forged from 10-gauge .925 sterling silver rod — solid, not hollow, not plated — and hand-hammered to a signature texture that catches light differently at every angle. No two bangles are identical. The 8mm lab-grown AAA pink ruby is set in a Victorian crown bezel: a 9mm sterling silver setting with 13 prongs that elevate the stone like a jewel in a royal crown. The bezel is soldered permanently between the bangle ends, becoming part of the structure rather than an addition to it.
The ruby is ethically created, flawless in grade, and carries the same chemical composition, hardness, and brilliance as a natural stone. In Tudor symbolism, the ruby was the stone of sovereign power — worn by queens and courtiers alike as a mark of devotion and rank.
Fits a 7-inch wrist. 8-inch opening to slide over the hand. Unstamped by design — no mark interrupts the hammered surface.
